Greetings from the Mesa
The DrawTogether Grown Up Table challenge is done, and for our final piece we did a blind contour drawing of a participant on Zoom. Totally fun challenge for the month of January. I’m doing a freewriting/drawing (see below for freewriting) challenge for myself for February. I loaded up a fountain pen yesterday for the first time in ages, and did some writing in a journal for the freewriting session. It felt really good to let loose. There are so many creative things happening here right now, it’s exciting, stimulating, and helping me move through IT.
In other news. I’m feeling a little constrained by the limitations of the Ghost platform. I may be moving back to doing my website through WordPress. Ghost has been great, but I may need to move on… Things may break in the next couple of weeks, we shall see.

Consuming
Currently Reading: Count of Monte Cristo, I Saw the Sky Catch Fire, My Favorite Thing is Monsters Vol. 2. The full list of what i’ve been reading.
TV/Movies: We are on Season 2 of Foundation. The space opera goodness continues. The episodes can be hit or miss but the locations are so good.
Music: I’m completely engrossed in my music collection right now. Oldies but goodies.
