30 – Support System

It’s a windy day
using to our advantage
wrapping up loose ends
a day keeps the microbiota proudly diverse. Pumpkin, almond, collard greens, banana, coffee, oats, walnuts, rice, blueberry, sunflower, pecans, coconut, safflower, chia seed, black beans, green chile, blue/corn, wheat, hemp, peanuts, spinach, tomato, zuccini, portabello mushroom, green olives, green tea, cherries, garlic, kale, orange…
30 a day keeps the biome flowering. No festering here. Just vegetables on the horizon. The carnivores in the house don’t appreciate the tiny bits of carrot or butternut squash – orange pieces from an alternate universe. They say one thing, then the next day they change their minds because of looming doom. The end of the year always brings a flurry of good-byes – damaging the environment is easier than fixing it. Meanwhile tomorrow there’s avian flu, and a fast-melting catastrophe at hand. Thanks for the memories mother Earth. It’s time to let out a long sigh and say another kind of good-bye.
