Workshop: Every once in a while you have to take a risk – personal, financial, or otherwise and do something that you wouldn’t normally do. I’ve been a fan of Lynda Barry for a long time now. She announced she was bringing her workshop Writing the Unthinkable to Portland and I instantly jumped on the opportunity. I’m so glad I did. I’m incredibly inspired and moved by the experience. It’s going to take me a while to unpack it all.
Science gives me the metaphors for understanding art [and vice versa].

Friends: Finished Season 3 of Stranger Things, and ultimately it was a let-down. Really lost me with thin story-line. Put some meat and substance into the story or just quit already.

Hike: Finally got to tick off a Oregon geo-bucket list item that I’ve been wanting to do for close to 9 years. It was amazing! Followed by solo overnight truck camping in Mt. Hood N.F.
